Live inquiry application launch 14 th March say Land Registry Marketing Manager

Map Search   If you use our portal you will soon be able to view the progress of your applications online, in real time, anytime. We are preparing to launch significant enhancements to Day List Enquiry. The service will be renamed ‘Application Enquiry’ and will be available next Monday (14 March). Like Map Search , it will be free to use. When Application Enquiry launches next week, customers will be able to find secure, accurate information about applications with a user-friendly search; and find more detail than ever before including the: progress status, such as: received, priority protected, in progress or delayed - reason an application has been delayed where applicable full priority period for Official Searches. Customers will also be able to save these details as a PDF. It’s really easy to get caught up in all the cool features that your product could have one day, but once you think you’re on the right track, there’s nothing better than actually trying to build something small to test your theory and discover new stuff. Since the start of the year, the team working on the Digital Mortgage have focused on just that. First we were ruthless and identified the absolute bare minimum that we felt we could build and still produce something that worked – in our case, something that created an online mortgage and something that let someone else look at it. Nothing more than that to start with and definitely the first versions of both, not the finished article. Local Land Charges initiative is opportunity to “make real difference”

Creating a single digital register for Local Land Charges will bring the strategic investment in the service which has been lacking in the past, delegates at Land Registry’s first national conference on the initiative were told. Representatives of local authorities, search companies and potential suppliers were briefed at the event on Land Registry’s progress towards taking over the role of sole registering authority. Chief Executive and Chief Land Registrar Graham Farrant, pictured (second left) during a question and answer session, said the programme was an opportunity to make a real difference to the quality of the service. The conference reflected a change in thinking from whether the creation of a single digital register would happen to “how and when and what is the process going to be?”, he said. Land Registry's monthly Market Trend Data for residential property prices in England and Wales. The September data shows an annual price increase of 5.3 per cent which takes the average property value in England and Wales to £186,553. Monthly house prices up 1.0 per cent since August 2015.
