A four-minute advert for the 'Vibe' development [sold out]in Dalston by property developer telfordhhomes.london features scenes of a young woman relaxing in the neighbourhood interspersed with images of how the flats will look. The music accompaniment was a mixture of early nineties pulp esque to early eighties joy division and probably selected, styled by some public school middle aged f art graduate. Not one of their 72 page glossy brochure ,showed an example of someone from ethnic background living in the area. In the film, the woman is seen visiting nearby boutique vintage clothes shops, ,restaurants and the Westfield shopping centre - which the video empathises is just a 12-minute train ride away.
