Hillary Clinton's presidential campaign has been hacked as part of a larger cyber attack against Democratic Party institutions, US media report. The latest hack follows two data breaches involving the Democratic National Committee and the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee. US officials widely believe that the cyber attacks were committed by agents working for the Russian government. Russian Capabilty Experts say the Russian state, via the FSB, has a well developed offensive hacking capability. It has previously been accused of deploying that capability in Estonia, Georgia and Ukraine. Russian military intelligence, GRU, is known to have similar capabilities, said Andrei Soldatov, an expert on the FSB and co-author of Red Web, a book about the Kremlin's sprawling surveillance machine.
