Spoiler alert: the days of getting a Park Lane property for £350 are long gone.  These days, £350 would secure you a whole 11 days in a Park Lane property, with the average monthly cost at £953. But it could be worse, Whitechapel was a bargain back in the day at £60 but based on the current average of £950pcm, that would only get you 45 hours and 36 minutes, which is just about enough time to unpack and then pack everything up again.
